Mr. Edelman is a highly accomplished Florida corporate and business attorney representing both corporate and individual clients in the capacity as outside and in house corporate counsel. He has, for over 30 years, provided legal expertise, representation and consulting services involving corporations, businesses, transactions, mergers, acquisitions, litigation, the formation, maintenance and governance of corporations, LLCs, LPs , joint ventures, consortiums and real estate matters including the sale and acquisition of commercial properties, leases and foreclosures.
As chief counsel for a multi-million dollar Florida international project and financing corporation Mr. Edelman was directly responsible for all legal department activities including domestic and international business involving U.S. and foreign companies and governments throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Eastern Europe and the Far East. He effectively negotiated, drafted and actively participated in the execution, performance and financing of numerous multi-million dollar agreements and transactions, including: development and infrastructure projects, hospitals, procurement, transportation, import-export, housing, seaports, irrigation, energy, concessions and many others.
Mr. Edelman graduated from the University of Miami, in 1962, with a Bachelor of Business Administration – Accounting degree. He then spent two years, in Germany, as an officer in the US Army. Mr. Edelman then returned to the University of Miami where he obtained his JD degree in 1967 and then proceeded, to obtain his LLM degree - Masters in Taxation in 1971.
